Welder- 20$- 24$, Morton, IL Job Responsibilities Production MIG Welding position Mostly Fixture welding Large agricultural and mining parts mainly Mostly Flat welding in fixtures however will need to be able to perform overhead welds and horizontal welding at times Employees will perform their own grinding on the parts Read prints and follow welding process Caterpillar and John Deere parts make up a good portion of the welding work Cabs are 4mm average thickness mostly single pass welding Mostly John Deere backhoes. These are 8 feet tall, 6 feet wide Tanks - 4mm - 12mm thickness, more double and triple pass welding Skills & Qualifications MiG welding. Welding Certification.
