We have an immediate opening for a 1st shift Operations Technician at our Morton, Illinois facility. This position is part of our Manufacturing Engineering Services team and will support critical processes and/or equipment that need maintenance or to avoid a line-down This person will assist the Manufacturing Engineering Services team in the following;

  • Supporting Production with day to day quick response time to routine issues with production / process Equipment.
  • Perform Preventive maintenance and Verifications on production equipment / processes.
  • Faultfinding of any equipment repairs as required electrically & Mechanically.
  • Aid developing capabilities and capacities for new products
  • Aid in developing manufacturable products with controlled processes for NPI
  • Drive productivity improvements in a sustaining role.
  • Provide technical knowledge for special cross-functional teams and committee.
  • Drive and implement lean practices.
  • Developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation The successful applicant must have a quality focus and should exhibit good written and verbal communication skills as well as proficiency with basic computer software including Microsoft Office such as MS Word and MS Excel for work instructions and data review. Three years' experience is needed in manufacturing and hands-on experience with process equipment. An Associate's Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent as well as electrical fault finding experience is very beneficial. This role will also require the ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds Our employees are the driving force behind our success.
